New Kid on the Block
Taking over the old Greens cafe in Bondi, this new joint is the brain child of Brown Sugar. It doesn't disappoint. The zucchini omelette with jalapeños is a winner! Coffee great too!

I've had 13,000 odd lunches in my life and the feast I had sitting at this table slots into my top 5 ever. The setting is beautiful, it's snuggled into a little bay along the Amalfi coast half way between Postiano and Ravello. The food was a sensation! Anitpasto to start, no selecting, they just bring the best. Try the Zuccini Flower pasta and the Salt roasted whole fish. Everyone smiles there. So will you.
Botswana Butchery. Queenstown. Go there with another carnivor and order the Slow roasted Cardrona Lamb Shoulder for two, (actually enough for three). The restaurant is set right beside Lake Wakatipu with an amazing view over the water from upstairs.
Deus Cafe. Auckland. just like the one here in Sydney but BIGGER. Motorbikes, classic cars and Retro BMX's on permanent display inside a minimal warehouse shell.
This is one of my favourite restaurants in America. Nothing flash, just delicious local cuisine. It's a mix of Cuban / Spanish dishes, you've got to try the plantaines. They also have a supersonic coffee called the Colada. Tobias and I looked forward to one every moring we were in Miami shooting.
Delicious. Duck is the signature dish. Must have. Interior by FearonHay, amazing architects. Their Mountain Retreat is one of my faves.
