A weird luminous mist covered Bondi Beach on Australia Day this year. It didn't clear early in the morning like it usually would. It just hovered. I shot these pictures at about 11:30am. I actually thought I'd missed my opportunity as I drove out of Bondi to go to breakfast at 8:30am, and thought it would have disappeared by the time I got back.
Luckily for me, I found these people on my return.

Love this slogan.

This was my surprise shot of the day. I was lining up the row of Japanese school girls waiting for a few of the stragglers to fall in line when the girl in the foreground exploded into my frame with a splash and a thud! She was a little battler, no tears, just got up and brushed herself off. I had a little giggle.
